What the French Ministry of Culture records

Edifice du 15e siècle, modifié au 16e par l'ouverture de nouvelles baies dans la tour située à l'angle. Le donjon semble antérieur au château et devait commander l'accès à ce dernier. C'est une grosse tour rectangulaire, flanquée d'une petite tour carrée contenant l'escalier qui se continue au dernier étage par une tourelle polygonale. La partie supérieure est moderne. Dans la cour du château se trouve l'ancienne église, longtemps paroissiale, redevenue chapelle privée en 1874. L'édifice date du 12e siècle mais le choeur a été rebâti au 15e. Situé dans le parc, le pigeonnier fut sans doute édifié au début du 17e siècle. Le nombre impressionnant de boulins, s'élevant sur cinq niveaux, exprime l'étendue du domaine à cette époque. De plan circulaire, il est surmonté de lucarnes à fronton triangulaire. L'échelle tournante a disparu : il n'en subsiste que la base de pierre.
