Domaine mentionné en 1522. Le manoir actuel est l'ancienne habitation du régisseur, et fut élevé en 1622. Les ruines du vieux château inspirèrent Walter Scott qui y séjourna lors de son passage en Touraine, en vue de se documenter pour "Quentin Durward". Le manoir, bâti à l'emplacement de bâtiments plus anciens, comprend une construction et une petite aile en retour d'équerre. Les ruines du château primitif se trouvent au nord-est du parc. La partie la mieux conservée est une tour polygonale occupée par un escalier accédant aux terrasses. Un puits ancien avoisine ces ruines.
