A l'origine, la propriété faisait partie d'un grand ensemble prieural, établi au début du 12e siècle, et dispersé en 1770. Sans doute servait-elle de dépendance, car le rez-de-chaussée est surmonté d'un vaste grenier à fourrage et à blé.
