Seigneurie connue dès le Moyen-Age. Le château en en briques, de style néoclassique dépouillé. Le corps central a été bâti en 1770 par l'architecte Liégeon, qui a conservé aux angles les quatre tours rondes du château antérieur. L'édifice est précédé d'une cour d'honneur pourvue de fossés secs en demi cercle, le tout fermé par une grille. De part et d'autre de cette cour se trouvent les ailes faisant office d'écuries et de cuisines, de dépendances et de basse-cour.
