Elevé à partir de 1766, le château actuel est l'oeuvre de l'architecte Anatole Amoudru, à partir de l'ancien manoir. L'entrée a été déplacée et la composition s'est ordonnée autour du château d'où rayonnent allées et parc. Seule la partie des communs a été conservée du manoir. La cour d'honneur est structurée par les deux tours rondes, les pavillons carrés et, de part et d'autre du château, deux corps de bâtiments dont l'un contient la chapelle et les greniers, et l'autre le pavillon des bains.
