Le château de Monts est une bâtisse édifiée au milieu du 18ème siècle et se compose d'un logis à sept travées. Cette demeure érigée sur une légère élévation est entourée d'un espace paysager permettant sa mise en valeur. Deux avenues conduisent au château et un bassin sans fontaine prolonge l'échappée visuelle en direction de l'ouest. Au 19ème siècle, une sorte de jardin d'agrément, vaste et limité par une allée circulaire, fut aménagé en remplacement d'une avant-cour. Un vaste bâtiment de communs abritant écurie, remise à voiture et logement fut implanté à la période correspondant à la construction du château. Le château de Monts s'inscrit dans une lignée d'édifices souvent rencontrés au 18ème siècle dans cette région et reflète parfaitement le style de vie de la petite et moyenne noblesse en Basse-Normandie.
