Château de Montrésor stands in Montrésor (Indre-et-Loire), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 14th century, 16th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Montrésor rises from a rocky promontory overlooking the Indrois valley and has occupied the site since the 10th century. Originally built as a fortress, it was reconstructed in the 15th century as a noble residence by Ymbert de Bastarnay, adviser to Louis XI, who added a collegiate church. In the 19th century, Polish nobleman Xavier Branicki undertook extensive restoration and furnished the interior in the Troubadour style, giving the château its current neo-Gothic appearance. His descendants remain in residence.

- The building stands within a landscaped park whose terraces and gardens are protected as part of the historical monument designation.
