Château de La Ménaudière stands in Chissay-en-Touraine (Loir-et-Cher), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 16th century, 17th century, 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Autour de 1443, est construit un château dont il subsiste la porte fortifiée occidentale et les courtines. Au début du 16e siècle est bâti l'édifice actuel, ainsi que des courtines adjacentes au bâtiment de servitudes, le long de la porte fortifiée. A la fin du 16e siècle, deux pavillons carrés sont construits aux angles ouest et sud, et les douves sont refaites. Vers 1650, François Gaillard, seigneur de la Menaudière, en devient propriétaire et fait doubler le château dans le même style. En 1898, édification de l'aile nord-ouest. Les façades Est dominent l'ancien étang qui alimentait les douves en eau et qui a été en partie asséché et converti en potager.
