Le château de Montmarin a été bâti à l'emplacement de celui de la Tuaudière. Le château, ses communs et la chapelle délimitent une cour rectangulaire. L'ordonnance sévère des bâtiments répond aux caractéristiques architecturales du 17e siècle. Le corps central s'accompagne de pavillons de chaque côté. L'intérieur est garni de boiseries du 17e siècle. Dans la bibliothèque, les boiseries de la partie centrale, de style 18e siècle, proviendraient du château voisin des Radrets. La cour est limitée au nord-est par les communs du 19e siècle, et au nord-ouest par les deux pavillons et la chapelle de même époque que le château. Le domaine est complété par un portail d'entrée et un pigeonnier aux dates incertaines.
