Le château a été construit sur des bases médiévales aujourd'hui disparues, et reconstruit au 17e siècle. Le château se compose d'un logis principal complété à l'ouest par une aile en équerre et à l'est par une terrasse terminée par une chapelle. Il a conservé ses ouvertures, son volume, ses toitures du 17e siècle. Devant la façade prend place un vaste escalier à double révolution, orné d'une balustrade qui se poursuit sur la terrasse. Plusieurs pièces lambrissées au 18e siècle ont conservé leur décor. Le château est complété par des dépendances qui rappellent sa vocation agricole : écurie, vacherie, atelier, maison du jardinier.
