Built at the end of the 15th century on the remains of an older fortified house, it still has its four towers and an L-shaped main building, surrounded by broad water-filled moats. One of its towers is also remembered as the place where Louis de Jaucourt worked on the Encyclopédie of Diderot and d'Alembert.
