The 14th-century stronghold formed the base for a rebuilding carried out in the 17th and 18th centuries by the Barentin family, combining classical living quarters with medieval remains. Visitors can see the so-called papal chamber, with its painted coffered ceiling, as well as underground passages leading to the old fortress.
