The Château de la Cour stands at Contigny, in the Allier department, against the Billonière hill, apart from the village centre. Built in the second half of the 18th century by the Imbert de Ballore family on the site of a vanished medieval castle, it features a main block flanked by short wings, a balustraded gallery added in the 19th century, and a broken pediment bearing the family's arms.
