What the French Ministry of Culture records

Du 11e au 16e siècle, le fief appartient au prieuré de La Réole. L'édifice forme un rectangle dont les faces les plus larges sont au nord et au sud. Une tour de même largeur s'appuie à l'est, contre ce bâtiment principal. L'ensemble est éclairé de larges fenêtres à ogives ou meneaux. Deux fragments de tours rondes sont les seuls vestiges de l'enceinte médiévale. L'intérieur du logis est divisé en trois parties reliées par de grandes arcatures.
