Ce château du début du 14e siècle, construit à flanc de vallon, est un long bâtiment rectangulaire, composé d'une maison forte flanquée de deux tours et de deux échauguettes puis agrandie à chaque extrémité d'une annexe de même hauteur vers 1564. La basse cour et ses communs érigés au nord est datent également du 16e siècle. La demeure appartint au 17e siècle à Gabriel de Guilleragues, brillant diplomate et auteur des Lettres de la religieuse portugaise.
