What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le moulin est reconstruit au 14e siècle avec le château dont il dépend et qui appartient à la famille de Pommiers, fidèles du roi d'Angleterre, duc d'Aquitaine. Au 19e siècle, le domaine est transformé en exploitation viticole. Depuis 1994, l'association pour la sauvegarde et la mise en valeur du castrum de Pommiers a rendu le site accessible aux visites. Situé au sud du château, près du pont médiéval, le moulin a été surélevé.
