What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château fort comprend une enceinte de remparts renforcée aux angles par quatre grosses tours rondes avec archères et trous de couleuvrines. La base de la construction s'appuie sur le rocher. Un pont-levis enjambe le fossé naturel. Un corps de logis barlong éclairé par des fenêtres à meneaux, se trouve sur la façade d'entrée. L'accès se fait par une porte centrale donnant sur une galerie à deux étages sur croisées d'ogives formant cloître, ornée au premier étage de boiseries du 15e siècle. Au nord, tourelle en encorbellement du 15e siècle.
