To make a day of it

Ancien manoir stands in Ouilly-le-Tesson (Calvados), in the Normandie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 14th century, 15th century, 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

The Ouilly manor stands apart from the village of Ouilly-le-Tesson, in the countryside of Calvados. Its two wings set at right angles date mostly from the late 15th and 16th centuries, built around an older octagonal stair tower. A surviving 14th-century section, now used as a barn, completes the group, which was once surrounded by moats that have since disappeared.
