The manor of Quilly stands in Bretteville-sur-Laize, south of the Notre-Dame church, on the land of the former parish that gave it its name. Built in the early 16th century by the Bateste and Girard families using ochre stone quarried nearby, it was later extended by the Sallet family, magistrates from Rouen, who added a long range of buildings. Notable features include a pavilion flanked by two turrets, a small panelled study, a baluster-topped gate, and an apple press with its grinder still kept in the southwest outbuildings.
