The manor house of Penmarc'h stands in Saint-Frégant, in Finistère, on land held for several centuries by one of the oldest noble families of the Léon region. The 16th-century main building, flanked by a square keep and a separate round tower topped with machicolations, illustrates the style of a Breton gentry house from the Renaissance period. The gabled dormer windows decorated with pinnacles and the low arched entrance door can still be seen from outside the estate.
