What the French Ministry of Culture records

Logis du 17e siècle accompagné d'une aile de commun plus ancienne. L'ensemble est protégé par une douve. Le manoir est un édifice rectangulaire en schiste couvert d'une toiture en ardoise à croupes. La travée centrale de la façade ouest de prolonge, au niveau du toit, par une tour carrée. De même pour la façade Est. Un corps de bâtiment plus ancien, fort remanié, présente des éléments de défense importants (tourelles, fossés) qui en font un des exemples de petits manoirs fortifiés, témoins de l'importance de certaines seigneuries de l'organisation féodale et militaire de la fin du Moyen-Age. Cet édifice est le berceau de l'ancienne famille de Thehillac dont la seigneurie de la Cour avait droit de haute justice.
