What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château de style néo-gothique construit entre 1895 et 1900 par l'architecte Henri Mellet, s'inspirant des manoirs de la fin du Moyen-Age. Il s'élève à l'emplacement de l'ancien manoir, détruit dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle. L'édifice adopte un plan irrégulier, avec un corps central rectangulaire, encadré de deux grandes ailes en légère saillie formant pignon, et flanqué d'une tour demi hors-œuvre en façade. La distribution intérieure n'a pas été modifiée, et la décoration des pièces associe des éléments des 18e et 19e siècles (boiseries à panneaux peints). Un escalier en bois en retour d'équerre dessert les deux étages supérieurs. Les nombreuses dépendances se déploient au nord du logis, délimitant une cour pavée qui correspond probablement à celle de l'ancien manoir. Un ancien potager s'étend à l'arrière des communs.
