Located at the hamlet of la Ville Der in the commune of Val d'Oust, Morbihan, this manor combines a medieval core, an octagonal tower and a spiral staircase dating from the 15th century, with a classically inspired remodeling carried out at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Architect Arthur Regnault led a full transformation between 1896 and 1900, adding wings, pavilions and a French formal garden within the main courtyard. Visitors approach across a bridge spanning the moat, flanked by granite piers opening onto that courtyard.
