To make a day of it

Manoir de Tromeur stands in Sérent (Morbihan), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

In Sérent, in the Morbihan, the manor of Tromeur preserves the memory of the lords of Sérent who made it their seat from the 15th century onward. Its architecture combines traces of that early settlement, a square tower and a gatehouse, with alterations carried out by the Collobel family in the 18th century. Visitors today can see the facades of the main dwelling, a dovecote, a well and the paved courtyard, evidence of an architectural evolution spread across several centuries without ever turning ostentatious.
