The manoir de la Chapelle stands in Notre-Dame-de-Courson, in the Calvados area, a timber-framed house built around 1580 and later altered during the 18th century. Its wooden frame, the infill panels combining tuileau and limestone triangles, and part of the original joinery have survived through the centuries. At the rear, an open gallery leads to a small corner turret, and a preserved press building remains on the grounds.
