Ancienne possession de la famille de Penfentenyo, le manoir de Kermorus apparaît dans les textes au milieu du 15e siècle. Il connaît plusieurs agrandissements et embellissements jusqu'à la fin du 16e siècle, avant d'être mis en fermage et peu à peu délaissé au profit de l'autre résidence des Penfentenyo, Cheffontaines, en Cornouailles. Subsistent aujourd'hui un grand logis en équerre mutilé au 19e siècle, ainsi que les vestiges de communs et d'une fontaine. Le colombier et la chapelle ont disparu. Le logis conserve cependant son organisation d'ensemble et des dispositions architecturales et décoratives (escaliers en vis, poutraison, cheminées, fragments de peinture murale) qui témoignent de son importance passée et traduisent le passage du style gothique à celui de la Renaissance.
