In Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets, the Plussinais malouinière is an example of the country houses built by Saint-Malo shipowners in the early 18th century. The rectangular main house, extended to the west by a pavilion linked through a lower building, forms a plain ensemble characteristic of the Saint-Malo area. A chapel dating from 1727 stands nearby, its three-sided apse and panelled vault still showing polychrome scroll paintings.
