To make a day of it
Schloss Achberg stands in Achberg (Landkreis Ravensburg), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Achberg stands on a hilltop in the southernmost part of the Landkreis Ravensburg, in Baden-Württemberg. The present baroque building replaced a medieval fortified castle that had given its name to the lordship of Achberg. Its festival hall is notable for stucco work of exceptional detail, among the richest found in southern Germany. The coat of arms of the Teutonic Order, still visible above the entrance portal, recalls the centuries when the castle belonged to that order.
