Rouvraye Lodge was built over several centuries, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, but took its present form during the second half of the 16th century. Two towers flank the vineyard-facing facade: one circular with a domed stone roof sheltering a dovecote, the other square with a pavilion roof. The residence combines a main hall, an L-shaped gallery, and a semi-troglodytic chapel, with defensive features including gun loops at each passage point.
