To make a day of it
Wasserschloss Geislingen stands in Geislingen (Zollernalbkreis), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Wasserschloss Geislingen stands in the town centre, just south of the parish church of St Ulrich, encircled by two stone-lined moats whose space in between forms the castle garden. Built as a three-winged complex around a courtyard, it combines a 15th-century core raised by the lords of Bubenhofen with Baroque extensions added in the 18th century by the Schenk von Stauffenberg family. The chapel of 1580, with its stuccoed ceiling, is the only surviving original interior, while the park holds two pavilions, one of them an octagonal structure faced with blue and reddish-brown faience tiles depicting biblical scenes.
