Schloss Stammen stands on the eastern bank of the Diemel river in Trendelburg, in the Landkreis Kassel, Hesse. Built between 1766 and 1772 for the Rabe von Pappenheim family of barons on the site of a manorial estate first recorded in 1429, the building is an example of Weser Renaissance baroque architecture, with its projecting central bays topped by round arched gables and its mansard roof. The house now serves as a privately run nursing home and is not open to visitors.
