Burg Bühne stands in Borgentreich (Kreis Höxter), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Bühne, in Borgentreich in the Kreis Höxter, was a fortified residence tracing back to a manorial estate of the 13th century, granted as a fief by the Bishop of Paderborn to the von Spiegel zum Desenberg family. The moated castle built in the 16th century had largely vanished over time, replaced in the 19th century by a working farm with barns and two timber framed gatehouses built in 1822 flanking the entrance. What remained of the site, including these two gatehouses, was torn down in 2013 and again in 2019, the latter demolition carried out without permission. Today only fragments of the outer bailey's defensive wall, pierced with arrow slits, still stand.
