Schloss Pillnitz stands in Dresden (Dresden), in Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Recorded dating: 14th century. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Pillnitz Castle sits on the right bank of the Elbe at the eastern edge of Dresden, once the summer seat of Saxony's electors and kings. Two Baroque pavilions face each other across a garden, the Wasserpalais by the river and the Bergpalais on the slope, joined later by the Neoclassical Neues Palais built after a fire destroyed the older Renaissance building. The surrounding park combines a Baroque garden with English and Chinese sections and a camellia tree dating from the early 19th century. The palace buildings now house an arts and crafts museum and a Schlossmuseum.
