Residenzschloss Dresden stands in Dresden (Dresden), in Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Dresden Castle served for nearly four centuries as the seat of the electors and later kings of Saxony, standing at the heart of the old town. Its origins trace back to a medieval stronghold of the 13th century, later expanded and reshaped across Renaissance, Baroque and neo-Renaissance periods. Largely destroyed in the 1945 bombing raids, the building has been under reconstruction since the 1980s. Today it houses several museum collections of the Dresden State Art Collections, including the Green Vault, the print and drawing cabinet, the coin cabinet and the armory.
