To make a day of it
Schloss Eichtersheim stands in Angelbachtal (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Eichtersheim stands at the centre of the village of Angelbachtal, ringed by a water moat that traces its uneven three-wing layout. Built from the second half of the 16th century by the lords of Venningen, it took on its present appearance during building works carried out in 1767 under Carl Philipp von Venningen, seen today in the twin-flight baroque staircase outside and the ornate stairway inside. Since 1980 the building has housed the town hall and a restaurant, while the surrounding landscape park, laid out in the 19th century, is open to visitors.
