Burg Guttenberg (Haßmersheim) stands in Haßmersheim (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Perched on a rocky spur above the Neckar, between the river valley and the Mühlbach valley, Burg Guttenberg has been continuously inhabited for nearly eight centuries. It has remained in the hands of the von Gemmingen-Guttenberg family since they acquired it in the fifteenth century, and they still live there today. The thirteenth-century keep, the massive shield wall and the ring wall with its Gothic arcading trace the different building phases of the castle. The grounds also house a castle museum and a well-known German bird of prey centre, the Deutsche Greifenwarte.
