The Burgruine Wieladingen sits on a rocky spur 540 metres above sea level, overlooking the Murg valley near the hamlet of Wieladingen, part of the municipality of Rickenbach. Built in the 13th century from rusticated variegated sandstone, it belonged to the Säckingen monastery before passing to the lords of Wieladingen. Abandoned to decay from the 15th century onward, it was long used as a source of building stone by nearby farms. What remains today is a 28-metre keep that can be climbed, remnants of a double gate and traces of a hall building.
