The Burg Bönnigheim stands as a ruin in the northeastern corner of the old town fortifications of Bönnigheim, in Baden-Württemberg. This former Ganerbenburg, a castle shared among several noble families from the 14th century onward, retains a multi-story residential building and a stair tower leading to what was once the castle courtyard. Destroyed during the Peasants' War and rebuilt in the 16th century, it still shows traces of repeated alterations in its varied window fronts and gable corbels.
