The château Rauzan-Gassies is a 30-hectare wine estate spread across the communes of Margaux and Cantenac, in the Gironde department. Founded in the 17th century by Pierre Desmezures de Rauzan, it originally formed a single property with château Rauzan-Ségla, before the two were split at the end of the 18th century over an inheritance matter. Ranked a second growth in the 1855 Bordeaux wine classification, it has belonged to the Quié family since 1946.

What to know
- The estate lies across the communes of Margaux and Cantenac, within the Margaux appellation.
- The property has belonged to the Quié family since 1946, who also own châteaux Croizet-Bages and Bel-Orme.

- It remains primarily a working wine estate rather than a monument with standard public opening arrangements.
