What the French Ministry of Culture records
Demeure du 18e siècle (1760-1770) représentative des édifices construits sur les bords de la Garonne par les notables bordelais. Agrandissement des dépendances, remaniement du décor intérieur et création du parc à la fin du 19e siècle (1884-1886). Une grille en fer forgé ferme l'entrée de la cour d'honneur, encadrée par deux pavillons de jardinier du 18e siècle. Le château se compose d'un corps de logis d'un étage, en longueur, ayant en son centre un pavillon faisant faible saillie, encadré de pilastres plats et terminé par un fronton triangulaire. Le bâtiment repose sur des caves voûtées formant cuisines et dépendances.
