Château Marquis de Terme is a 46-hectare wine estate spanning the communes of Margaux and Cantenac in the Médoc. Ranked a fourth growth in the 1855 classification, the estate takes its name from François III de Péguilhan, Marquis de Terme, who inherited it through marriage in 1762. Thomas Jefferson stayed here in 1787 and listed the wine among the finest he tasted in France. The visit, lasting about 75 minutes, covers the cellars and the history of a property later run by the Feuillerat and Sénéclauze families.
