Standing on the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay, this grand residence was built for the merchant Charles Perrier by architect Eugène Cordier. Its architecture combines brick and stone, Italian-inspired rustication and tall slate roofs in an eclectic style unusual for its time. It now houses the Museum of Champagne Wine and Regional Archaeology, and its grounds and façades reflect the wealth of the great champagne houses of the 19th century.
