What the French Ministry of Culture records

De 1864 à 1869, Alfred Magne, fils du ministre des finances de Napoléon III, fit construire un château néo-XVIIe qui nécessita le déplacement du village. Un vaste jardin paysager avec garenne accompagnait cet édifice dont l'intérieur a conservé son état d'origine malgré sa transformation en hospice en 1929.
