Le domaine de La Lagune fut construit au 18ème siècle à l'emplacement d'un village médiéval nommé La Lagune. L'édifice se présente sous la forme d'une chartreuse à soubassement, encadrée de deux ailes en retour d'équerre. Les bâtiments s'articulent autour de deux cours rectangulaires fermées par des grilles: la cour d'honneur regroupant la chartreuse et ses ailes, limitée par de hautes grilles et la cour de l'ancien cuvier.
