Il devait y avoir un château au 15e siècle dont témoignent encore deux tours rondes dans la cour. L'édifice a été reconstruit au 18e siècle sur les plans de Soufflot, mais il est presque certain que ces plans ont été modifiés en ce qui concerne la façade sur la rivière. Sur la cour, le corps de logis est composé d'un rez-de-chaussée, d'un étage et de mansardes. Porte d'entrée sur perron, arrondie, encadrée de pilastres à une agrafe au centre. Le rez-de-chaussée était entièrement voûté d'arêtes. Deux pavillons en avancée ayant deux étages, terminent la façade sur cour. L'édifice a été incendié par les Allemandes durant la Seconde guerre mondiale.
