What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château de Sarcus, près de Grandvillers, a été construit au 16e siècle et détruit en 1833. C'est Monsieur Daudin qui racheta ces vestiges et les fit reconstruire en son parc comme fabriques. Le groupe principal est formé de trois arcades et d'une voûte. Le second forme une chapelle dans un autre endroit du parc. Un troisième élément était une arcade aujourd'hui effondrée et dont les morceaux sont conservés dans les communs du château. Ces ruines sont un témoin exceptionnel de l'art de la première Renaissance en Picardie.
