Château de Jambville stands in Jambville (Yvelines), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, 19th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Jambville stands at the end of a lime-tree avenue, within a 52-hectare park in the Yvelines. Built on medieval foundations between the 15th and 18th centuries, its present appearance owes much to the Maussion family, who reoriented the building and laid out an English-style park dotted with follies, including a Greek temple dating from 1775. Since 1952 the estate has housed the national training centre of the French Scouts and Guides, which largely shapes what can be seen there today.

What to know
- The château is permanently occupied by the national training centre of the French Scouts and Guides, which limits access for conventional visits.
- The 52-hectare park contains several 18th-century follies, including a Greek temple built in 1775.
- The building is listed as a historic monument under two inscription orders, dated 1994 and 2010.
- Current facilities such as meeting rooms, dormitories and a dining hall are designed for groups attending training courses rather than for individual sightseeing.
