Château de Saint-Pastour stands in Saint-Pastour (Lot-et-Garonne), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 13th century, 16th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

Bastide fondée entre 1250 et 1259 par Alphonse de Poitiers. La ville, encore pro-anglaise en 1315, lutte contre ces derniers à partir des années 1350. Durant le 16e siècle, catholiques et huguenots se disputent la cité. En 1569, Monluc emporte le combat contre le capitaine protestant Arnaud de Clermont. Armand de Gontaud Biron emporte la place en juillet 1580, et en massacre les défenseurs huguenots. Ces derniers reprennent la ville. En 1652, le bourg aux mains des Frondeurs subit l'assaut des troupes royales. Les remparts datent de la seconde moitié du 13e siècle, de même que le château, remanié au 16e siècle. Ce dernier est un quadrilatère renforcé de trois tours munies d'embrasures de tir. Le couronnement de l'édifice a disparu.
