The château de Favols stands in Bias, in the Lot-et-Garonne department, on a terrace overlooking the Lot river, at the site of a former ford it once guarded. Its oldest sections, two towers linked by a main dwelling, date from the late 13th or early 14th century. Traces of several periods remain visible, including a mullioned window from the 16th century and wide bays cut into the walls in the 18th, along with remnants of an original U-shaped plan flanked by corner towers, one of which was converted into a dovecote.
