Le château se compose d'un grand coprs principal de plan en U, à deux niveaux côté sud, et un seul côté nord, adossé à une forte déclivité qui se termine, côté Lot, par une carrière de calcaire. Il manque le retour de l'aile ouest. Des fenêtres en arc plein cintre éclairent le rez-de-chaussée, tandis qu'elles sont rectangulaires à l'étage. Le corps central est surmonté d'un fronton triangulaire. Une double allée de platanes accompagne le château. Quatre piliers supportent un pigeonnier.
